Okay, these are cool. They really do glow brightly and look very pretty alongside our live plants. Most importantly, they’re soft and flexible to the touch so I won’t have to worry about them irritating our fish once our tank is ready for them.Our tank came with an RGB bubble wand, and I got the idea to stretch out the long bendy anemone thingy along the wand (which was the exact length of the tank, awesome) to help keep our mixed sand gravel substrate from getting into the jets and LEDS, while also adding an additional pop of color to the background. It actually working! My genius is terrifying sometimes.The glow factor is vivid and eye-catching. Because our RGB lights are in the bottom rear of the tank, the bendy thingy gets the most blue light and therefore glows the brightest as you can see. Really cool — and useful! But the rest of the pieces would glow just as brightly with a proper overhead blue light so I’m planning on swapping out our overhead white one.The tall thingy looks great in blue red light. But my favorite besides the long anemone thingy is the silky pink flower. I put it in a little glass cup as a focal piece. I think I might have packed the gravel too tightly in its cup because the petals flowed much more before I planted it. Oops, gonna have to fix that lol. And once I swap out my white light it’s gonna really glow like it should and look awesome.The only piece I haven’t used is the small mushroom-looking thingy. Only because I don’t know where to put it, or if there’s room for it in my 10 gal tank because I need more live plants.
