“Amsterdam School” /Art Deco mantle clock in oak and coromandel timber case, bronze dial.8 day  strikes the gong. Movement by Junghans Germany ca.1925. 36 cm wide / 27 cm high “Amsterdam School” mantle clocks, the oak and coromandel timber and bronze or chrome plate metal are  distinctive for the “Amsterdam School” design. The design is a “movement within a movement” since this is certainly Art Deco but decidedly Dutch in the period 1910-1930s.
