Description The Scout 2.5 fixed blade carbon fiber edition is the EDC fixed blade for carriers who want maximum capability with minimum weight. Furthermore, it carries flat, cuts clean, and barely registers on the belt or in the pocket. Scout 2.5 — Blade The 2.5″ drop-point blade rides on a skeletonized full tang for a strong yet lightweight platform. Steel is CPM MagnaCut, finished in DLC for a deep, non-reflective black. As a result, you get exceptional edge retention, real toughness, and outstanding corrosion resistance in a coating that resists scratches far better than a polished finish. Handle & Carbon Fiber Build The carbon fiber handle brings the total weight down to just 3oz — noticeably lighter than the titanium or brass scale options in Griffin’s catalog. Moreover, carbon fiber’s natural weave pattern gives the handle visual depth that no painted or coated material can replicate. Additionally, the ergonomic shape and generous belly mean this knife handles daily cutting tasks without creating hotspots, even at this reduced weight. Sheath & Carry This Scout 2.5 fixed blade carbon fiber model ships complete with a vertical or horizontal Kydex sheath. Therefore, you can configure it for traditional belt carry or run it appendix-style depending on your setup.
